OnSwitch for Philips Hue App Reviews

This app was awesome for years. But as always, the manufacture got GREEDY. By this I am referring to the developers continued to add new themes to the applications home screen. These theme are NOT free; nor are these additional themes as desirable as this Applications original selection. Youre probably thinking, "Dont Buy the Theme". This would be a great suggestion; however the solicitation for all of these unusable themes remains on the home screen FOREVER. Here is the result of this GREED continuing. The HOME SCREEN of this Application has become so cluttered with unusable themes that now I must scroll "UP & DOWN" simultaneously OPENING SUBFOLDERS in the Application for 10-30 seconds every time I want to turn my lights on.

I have over 40 hue lights/strips/bloom/Hugo. This is by far the most user friendly Hue App with a lot of options for everyday users. I also have Hue disco and a couple of others. But I use this one the most! Check it out if you love custom lighting!!

Use it more than Hue app.

Would be better if you didnt have to pay for everything. You get 4 free standard modes, everything else is .99 or $2.99 and you dont get to preview before you buy.

I use this app the most. Its very easy to use. I love how they add new lights to the updates! "Single color flows" and "Fluorescent" my my favorite. Keep up the good work

Has glitches a few times in 6 months, but what device doesnt.

The only thing I use this to do is to automatically turn my lights on when I wake up in the morning. For that, its absolutely perfect.

This is one of my favorite apps on my phone, but it lacks in a few areas. 1. Doesnt work with hue remotes: negligible to some but would love to be able to program my hue remotes with some of these selections 2: the USA selection should be available year round... Just seems proper 3: a buy all option would be amazing. I would love to just pay once and have access to everything regardless of changes. Buying random sections one at a time without demos is just painful. All that written this is still the benchmark of hue apps, despite my "wish list"

App has done very strong features, I especially like the sunset & sunrise settings with timers. There is no way to create a light recipe, no circadian lighting option. The set-up to buy new scenes without being able to preview them is just dumb. There should be a preview mode for example, or the programmer can clearly make options available for a short time and turn them off (like US flag and Paris solidarity) so I would think at the least there could be preview days, every Monday or once a month or sometime. Otherwise the price on the individual pre-fix light scenes are too high to risk them.

I love this app for Alexa!! All the different moods and nature and variety of lights! I love the passing clouds! I want to get aurora and lightning, but that is gonna have to wait a few months. GET THIS APP if you have Alexa. You will not be disappointed! Enjoy! Also very user friendly! I was able to figure it out immediately! Thx for a fun app!
